A thick mat of wet leaves under snow doesn't compost politely. It smothers the turf, holds moisture against the crown all winter and gives you matted, moldy dead spots to reseed in April.
Fall cleanup means the whole property: lawn, beds, foundation lines, under the shrubs where the leaves pile up, and off the hard surfaces. Then it leaves in the truck.
Spring is the other half. Winter leaves behind sticks, sand, salt-burned edges and ruts from the plow. We clear it, cut back what needs cutting back, and roll the lawn to flatten out the freeze-thaw damage before the first mow.
Book fall cleanups early. Everyone in Erie County wants theirs done the same three weeks in October, and the weather doesn't cooperate with all of them.

Get on the calendar in late summer. We do most cleanups from mid-October through November, and those weeks fill up before the leaves are even down.
Depends on your trees. Properties with a lot of oak or a mix of species usually want two passes — one mid-drop and a final one. We'll tell you what your yard needs.
